Manali Ladakh Srinagar Tour Itinerary
Day 1 :Arrival in Manali
Once you arrive in Manali early in the morning you will be immediately made to check in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay. You will then be taken on a brief spiritual sightseeing tour to some ancient temples like – Vashishtha Kund and Hidimba Devi Mandir before heading back to your hotel by evening for freshening up and staying the night.
Day 2 :Manali – Jispa
Early in the morning after having a wholesome breakfast you will be made to board the bus headed on towards your next beautiful destination of Jispa. This place is situated at a distance of 4 hours and 20 mines which will be covered by bus. You will be arriving at Jispa by evening after which you will be immediately checked in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 :Jispa – Leh
After having a wholesome and healthy breakfast in the morning you will be made to proceed to your next destination of Leh, which is situated at a distance of 9 hours and 15 mines. Once you arrive at Leh you will be immediately checked in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4 :Leh Sightseeing
After completing your breakfast in the morning you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of this wonderful hill town which will include visiting some of the most popular places like – the Thiksey Gompa hilltop monastery; Hemis Gompa (in Ladakh) and hall of fame war museum. All these sightseeing attractions are some of the must-visit places in Leh Ladakh and carry a lot of importance to the locals.
After a complete sightseeing expedition, you will be assisted back to your hotel in Leh where you will be spending the night.
Day 5 :Leh – Khardung La Pass – Nubra Valley – Diskit
Early in the morning, after having your breakfast, you will be driven to Nubra valley which is located at a distance of 5 hours and 20 mines and is only accessible by going over Khardung La Pass. Located at an elevation of 5,570 metres above sea level this is one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Nubra valley falls on the trading route from Leh to Kharga via Saser and Karakoram passes. After having a thrilling experience you will then be driven to the popular and ancient 350 years old Diskit Gompa – a popular site for some of the most iconic murals. You will be then checked into a hotel at Diskit where you will be spending the night.
Day 6 :Diskit – Leh
Your morning will commence after having a delicious and healthy breakfast. You will be made to visit the popular Diskit monastery which is one of the highest points in Leh and is located extremely close to the village of Diskit. You will then be taken for a visit to the iconic statue of future Buddha which is also known as Jampa Buddha. After this you will be driven back to Leh which will be a journey of 3 hours and 40 mines.
Day 7 :Leh – Pangong Tso – Leh
You will be made to visit the popular glimmering and iconic Pangong Tso Lake. This is the ideal place for some picnic activities with your family and loved ones. Apart from this Pangong is also an iconic photography spot and an oasis for bird watchers. The lake is situated at an elevation of 14,500 feet above sea level and is the largest water stretch in Asia. By evening you will be driven back to Leh for an overnight stay.
Day 8 :Leh Sightseeing
Early in the morning after having a delicious breakfast you will be taken on a sightseeing visit to some of the most iconic attractions like – Shanti stupa (the seat of peace of Japanese Buddhists), Leh Palace, view of Zanskar mountains. By evening you will be made to enjoy the fun folk dance performance of Leh before heading back to allotted hotel in Leh.
Day 9 :Leh – Likir – Alchi
Early in the morning after having your breakfast you will be made to visit the popular and mysterious Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Indus Zaskar river Sangam. Later on you will be driven to Likir Gompa – situated at a distance of 4 kms from the main Leh Srinagar road and is extremely popular for its Thankas. You will then be driven to Alchi Gompa which is home to some of the most unique paintings dating back to 11th century. You will then be checked in to your allotted hotel at Alchi for an overnight stay.
Day 10 :Alchi – Lamayuru – Kargil
Early in the morning after having your breakfast you will be driven to Kargil passing over Namika la and Mulbekh which is home to a 50 feet high Chamba statue which is carved out from a single rock. You will then be made to visit the Lamayuru monastery which is famed for being the oldest monastery in Ladakh. After a brief sightseeing, you will be driven straight to Kargil where upon arrival you will be checked in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 11 :Kargil – Sonmarg – Srinagar
Early in the morning, you will be made to proceed towards your next destination of Srinagar, after having your breakfast, via the 2nd coldest inhabited place in the world – Drass. On your way you will be made to visit some of the most popular places like Kargil war museum, Minimarg, Zojila Pass and Sonmarg. Once you arrive at Srinagar you will be immediately checked in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 12 :Srinagar Sightseeing
Early in the morning after the completion your breakfast you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Srinagar where you will be visiting places like – Shankaracharya hill and the holy temple. you will then be taken on a fun Shikara ride on Dal Lake. You will also be made to visit the island of Char Chinar. By afternoon you will be made to visit Nishat Bagh or ‘garden of pleasure’. By evening time you will be taken on a shopping expedition where you will be made to buy some traditional souvenirs before heading back to your allotted hotel in Srinagar.
Day 13 :Srinagar Departure
From Srinagar, you will be made to board the flight heading onwards to your desired destination. This will mark the conclusion of your journey with us.
