Nagarjunakonda and Amaravati Tour Package

Once you arrive at Hyderabad and after completing your check-in procedure at your allotted hotel, you will be taken on a wholesome sightseeing tour of the city which will include visitation to the following places: Salar Jung Museum – one of the three national museums in India, which houses a massive collection of artifacts and items which were curated over time by various kings of Hyderabad; Char Minar – the iconic landmark of Hyderabad.

During the afternoon you will be taken for a visit to the following tourist attractions – Ananda Vihara – which is considered to be the heart and soul of all the major Buddhist activities here. It holds extreme importance for Buddhists and was opened by Dalai Lama himself.

After a whole day of fun sightseeing expedition, you will be made to head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, you will be taken to Nagarjuna Sagar via a road journey of 3 hours. Upon your arrival, you will be immediately checked in to your hotel where you will be spending the night. Post freshening up you will be made to head out for a brief sightseeing of the city where you will be taken to the following places: Anupu ruins – the site for Buddhist excavations which showcases three main structures, an ancient university, amphitheater and Harati Temple. This site is one of the prime Buddhist destinations for every enthusiast. Impressive Buddhist related artifacts and structures were excavated which helps in decoding the bygone era.

After the sightseeing, you will be made to head back to your hotel in Nagarjuna Sagar.

After breakfast in the morning, you will be made to head on for a sightseeing tour of Nagarjuna Sagar city. You will be taken on a fun boat ride heading towards the famous Nagarjunakonda Island museum – which displays numerous artifacts from different religions and beliefs. Numerous Buddhist related artifacts which were dug up during excavations found its home in the museum where it is extremely well preserved. The entire island of Nagarjuna Sagar is located on the center of a manmade lake.

In the evening you will be spending some time by the Nagarjuna Sagar before heading back to your hotel.

Early in the morning, you will be made to proceed towards Vijayawada which will be a 4 hours of road journey. En route a visit to Amravati museum and stupa. The museum is known for its massive collection of Buddhist related items and statues.

Once you arrive in Vijayawada you will be checked in to your hotel where you will be spending the night.

Post breakfast you will be taken for a full day tour of this wondrous city. You will be assisted to the following tourist attractions: Bhattiprolu and ghantasala stupas. Later after a sacred sightseeing tour of the city you will be made to head back to your hotel where you will be spending the night.

After breakfast, you will be duly transferred to your place of departure where you will be boarded on the plane headed onwards toward your desired destination.
