Mirissa City Sightseeing Tour Itinerary
Day 01 : Pick-up from Colombo – Sightseeing tour of Mirissa
As per the scheduled departure, you will be picked up from your hotel room in Colombo and will be transferred to Mirissa for a two-day adventure journey. You will enjoy a very scenic journey during your transfers from Colombo to Mirissa.
On reaching Mirissa, first, you will check-in to your hotel room and enjoy an hour-long refreshment. Then, you will proceed towards your sightseeing adventure of Mirissa.
First, you will visit the Polhena Beach which is little uncrowded beach where you can spot many turtles floating in the ocean and you can also swim with them. Here in Polhena Beach, you will enjoy some wonderful sights of sea turtles living their usual day.
Next, you will move to Mirissa Beach, which is a famous beach here in Mirissa and it also opens up door for other exciting sites in Mirissa. On reaching Mirissa beach, you will first visit the Parrot Rock which is almost a rocky surface giving away an amazing view of the Indian Ocean and has a very steep path to walk up to that.
After this, you will visit the Coconut Tree Spot which is only minutes away from Parrot Rock and see a wonderful cliff hurdled by long coconut trees.
Later, you will enjoy lunch at one of the famous restaurants in Mirissa Beach where you can savor any Sea Food meal that you have been meaning to taste.
And afterwards, you have the whole evening to engage in various sports activities on Mirissa Beach like surfing, body boarding, etc.
You can either chill around here, exploring the street culture of this beach, can also buy souvenirs from the small-small shop lined up along the coastline.
Late, you will be escorted back to your hotel room where you will enjoy the cold breeze coming in your hotel room via the window.
Day 2 :Drop to Colombo
A boat trip on the Indian Ocean and watching whales – Drop to Colombo
After the excursion, you will be escorted back to Colombo where this trip will finally end and our representative will say his goodbye to you.
Next morning, you will wake up early for your boat trip on the Indian Ocean for whale watching. You will enjoy a packed breakfast during this trip. When you will cruise on the Indian Ocean, you will some rare of sights of dancing dolphins and angry whales swimming beside you.
After this boat trip, you will be transferred back to Colombo where your trip will come to an end.
