Ladakh Lakes Tour Itinerary
Day 1 :Arrival in Leh, Ladakh
Welcome to Ladakh, the land like no elsewhere in the world! You are here for tour to high altitude lakes of Ladakh – the land of high passes and gompas. The representative of Atlas Travel shall receive you with warm welcome from the Leh Airport and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Wash, change and relax. Spend rest of the day at leisure for acclimatization of the harsh cold climate of the region. Often referred to as the Cold Desert, Ladakh is the one of the most exotic regions of India; located in the northernmost Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. Dinner and overnight stay shall be at the hotel.
Day 2 :Leh
Leave the hotel after breakfast. Proceed for sightseeing tours in and around Leh – the main town of the region. Day 4 :Uleytokpo – Leh
Take breakfast and then check out the camp. Return to Leh en route visiting the world famous Alchi Monastery and other monuments. On arrival in Leh, the representative of Atlas Travel shall transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Have dinner and stay night at the hotel.
Day 5 :Leh – Nubra Valley
Check out from the hotel and then drive to Nubra Valley passing through the Khardung La (Pass) – the highest motorable pass in the world. Reach at Nubra Valley and check-in at the camp. Dinner and overnight stay shall be at the camp.
Day 6 :Nubra Valley – Leh
Have breakfast and then proceed for sightseeing of the beautiful Nubra Valley. Explore the picturesque serene region of Nubra Valley by exciting camel safari ride. Also, visit the Diskit and Hundar Monasteries. Return to Leh and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay shall be at the hotel.
Day 7 :Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh
Have breakfast at the hotel. Later make full day excursion to the world-famous high altitude Pangong Lake. Enjoy birding and unwind at the picturesque place there. On time return to the hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 :Leh
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy day at leisure enjoying your own holiday activities. Explore local bazaars and do shopping. Purchase some exquisite Ladakhi handcrafts. Purchase some gifts for your near and dear ones. Dinner and overnight shall be at the hotel.
Day 9 :Leh – Tsomoriri – Korzok
Take breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Tsomoriri Lake (a high altitude lake in the mountains) and Korzok. En rouge you will see several important places like Chumathang hot springs, Mahe and Puga Sumdo. Have sightseeing of some loving creatures including colorful bird species and treat your eyes with the spectacular view of Tsomoriri Lake. Check in at the hotel at Korzok for overnight stay. Dinner shall be served at the hotel.
Day 10 :Korzok – Tsokar – Taglang La – Leh
Have breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Tsokar Lake. Later return to Leh via Taglang La. On arrival in Leh, the representative of Atlas Travel shall transfer you to the hotel. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 :Leh – Departure
