2) Pawan Dham Mandir

Situated by the road in Haridwar this ancient Mandir is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in Haridwar. Founded by Swami Vedanta Nand Ji maharaj the temple is well known all over for its beautiful and intricate architecture. 4) Daksheswara Mahadev Temple

Named after King Daksha Prajapati (father of Sati), this Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Built-in 1810 this centre for pilgrimage is a focal point for all the shaivite devotees during the auspicious time of Maha Shivratri. It has a massive Lord Shiva structure which stands tall inside the temple complex and is located by the holy banks of River Ganga. This is one of the oldest and the most important temples in Haridwar.

5) Shree Chintamani Parshwanath Mandir

Surrounded by lush green trees and the holy Himalayan ranges, the two storied temples is made up of artistically engrave yellow stones and is one of the main centres for Jains. It is mostly famous for its art designs on the walls and intricate designs. The temple successfully captures the true significance of the sanctity of Jain culture. Inside the temple, resides a black idol of Shri Parshv Yaksh and Mata Padmavati Devi sitting in a Padmasana Position.
