Upon arriving at Gaya our tour representative will assist you to your allotted hotel where you will spend some time relaxing and freshening up. You will then be taken to the UNESCO world heritage site and a prime centre of Buddhist pilgrimage – Mahabodhi temple. This temple is home to a descendant of the Bodhi tree under which Buddha had attained his enlightenment. You will then be taken to the sacred Thai temple before heading towards your hotel in Bodhgaya for an overnight stay.

After having your breakfast in the morning you will be made to leave for Patna, which is located at a distance of 4 hours. En route you will be made to explore some of the most popular attractions related to Buddhism which will include Rajgir – the ancient Bihar capital and home to the famous vulture hill from where Lord Buddha had given a number of his discourses; Nalanda – the ancient centre of learning and the place where Buddha preached Buddhism to his disciples from far and wide.

After a day of Buddhist sightseeing along the way, you will arrive at Patna where you will immediately be checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be made to driven towards another site of Buddhist importance, Kushinagar which is located at a road journey distance of 5 hours and 20 mines.

On your way you will be made to visit Vaishali, which is a 1 hour and 30 mines drive from Patna. Here you will be made to visit a few of the prime Buddhist stupas which attract a number of tourists from far and wide. Along with Buddhist importance, Vaishali also holds some connection to Ramayana.

Once you arrive at Kushinagar you will be immediately checked in to your allotted hotel here for an overnight stay.

After having your breakfast in the morning your sightseeing tour of Kushinagar will kickstart where you will be covering – Mahaparinirvana temple, which is the place of death of Lord Buddha and houses an image of the reclining Buddha which is also another important site of Buddhist pilgrimage. Your next and final location here will beThai temple.

After spirituality filled day you will be driven towards Varanasi which is located at a distance of 6 hours and 20 mines. Upon your arrival at Varanasi, you will be made to check in to your hotel where you will be spending the night.

Early in the morning, around 5 am, you will be assisted for a boat ride on top of the holy Ganga River from where you will be made to witness the glorious sunrise. After this you will be made to visit the holy Buddhist town of Sarnath which is situated at a distance of 45 mines. Here you will be made to visit some of the important stupas here which include, Dhamek and Chaukhandi stupa. This is also the place where the holy chant of ‘Buddham Saranam Gacchami’ was brought to life.

During the afternoon you will be made to explore some of the most important attractions in Varanasi like: Kashi Vishwanath Mandir – one of the most important and holiest Lord Shiva temples in India and home to one of the 12 jyotirlingas; Durga temple – dedicated to Durga Maa and one of the most popular temples here; Banaras Hindu University.

After a day filled with fun, you will be made to head back to your hotel in Varanasi for an overnight stay.

After having your breakfast in the morning you will immediately be transferred to the airport where you will be made to board the flight heading back to your home destination.
