Bhutan Folk Festival Tour Package

Upon arrival at the Paro Airport, please look for Atlas Travel’s tour manager who will then assist you in your transfer to Thimphu. After safely reaching Thimphu, the tour manager will help in the check-in process and with that, you can enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

After having a breakfast, proceed with your Thimphu city tour. You will be visiting places like the National library, Handicraft Centre, Folk Heritage Museum, Changangkha Monastery, Motithang Takin Preserve, Memorial Chorten, Painting School, and Traditional Medicine Institute during your sightseeing tour.

When you will finish touring in the Thimphu city, you will then proceed towards Punakha city. Punakha is a quaint little town filled with some famous monasteries and adventure activities. During this journey, you will make a brief stop at Do Chula Pass which is a yet another beauty hidden in between the mountains of Bhutan.

Finally, in the evening check-in to your hotel room and enjoy your overnight stay. With that, mark it as the end of day 2 out of your package.

After having a breakfast, get ready to spend your three days consecutively enjoying the folk festival of Tshechu. Here at this festival, you will get to enjoy the Bhutanese culture and traditions because you will see people walking in their traditional clothes. You can also participate in various events and competition held here like dancing in masks, archery, throwing the darts and cooking.

So, live you three days to the fullest and enjoy the ancient culture of Bhutan.

But, please return to your hotel room every day for an overnight stay.

After having a breakfast, get ready to resume your journey because we will be heading towards Trongsa this day. During this road journey, you will also get to see many of highest mountains peaks such as Tsendagang, Zongphugang, Terigang, Masagang, Jejegangphugang, and Gangkar Puensum.

There will be some stopover which you will be making during this journey like at Wangduephodrang town where you will be served with some of the famous Bhutanese cuisines. And at Chendebji Chorten, a very famous temple built during the 18th century.

Finally, check-in to your hotel room for an overnight stay and mark it as the end of day 6 out of your package.

After having a breakfast, get ready to proceed towards Phobjikha and the journey to this small town is through lined up dwarf bamboo and rhododendron trees. By covering a distance of 83.4 km, you will reach in the city which known as ‘the broad glacier valley’.

Proceed towards the check-in process and later, you will get the rest of the day to yourself to enjoy however you wish to.

Finally, return to your hotel room in the evening for an overnight stay and mark it as the end of day 7 out of your holiday package.

After having a breakfast, get ready to proceed towards Thimphu via Do Chula Pass. Once again, we will make a short stopover at Do Chula Pass so that you get some time again to dwell deeper into its beauty.

Proceed towards the check-in process and get settled in your hotel room. The rest of the day is at your disposal to spend it the way you like to.

Finally, return to your hotel room in the evening for an overnight stay and mark it as the end of day 8 out of your package.

After having a breakfast, get ready to proceed towards Paro which will the last destination of your package. But before moving forward, you can opt for having a short excursion to Thimphu city on your own and upon your wish, you will be transferred to Paro in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, get ready to move towards Paro. After reaching safely in Paro, proceed towards check-in process and the rest of the day is at your disposal.

After having a delicious breakfast, get ready to enjoy a fun-filled day tour to Paro. You will be making a short trip to the Paro’s hilly area. The famous attraction you will be visiting this day will be Mt. Jhomolhari, from where you will also have a panoramic view of the whole city of Paro.

Later, proceed towards Taktsang Monastery. A very beautiful monastery where it is believed to be seen flying tigers some few centuries ago.

Finally, return to your hotel room in the evening for an overnight stay and mark it as the end of day 10 out of your package.
