Upon arrival in Delhi, please look for Atlas Travel’s tour manager because he will be the one assisting you throughout your journey. He will then, ask you to proceed further towards your overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3 is when the actual adventure begins. After having breakfast, get ready to proceed with your full-day excursion to Taktsang monastery. This majestic Buddhist architecture is located on the Cliffside of Paro valley. One has to walk for 2.5-hour trek to reach this monastery but after reaching the highest point, there will no doubt that how much exhilarating the whole experience would feel.

Finally, return to your hotel room for an overnight stay in the evening and mark it as the end of day 3 out of your package.

After having breakfast, the tour manager will assist you towards the starting point of the trek which will be Drukgyal Dzong. There is a walking trail adjacent to this Dzong from where you will embark on trekking journey. You will have to trek for around 5 to 6 hours until you reach the Shana village where you will be setting up camp for an overnight stay.

If you are not drained by walking then, you can also head towards exploring the area on your own. With that, mark it as the end of day 4 out of your package.

After having breakfast, proceed towards your next stop, Soi Thangthangkha. From here, the trek will an upward trek passing through a river valley but after some miles, it will slowly start to narrow down and finally leading towards a drainage. It will take 7 to 8 hours of walking to finally reach this point and upon reaching this point, you can directly pitch-in towards your camp.

After having breakfast, you will start the day a little different by first visiting the Po Chu pass which is a small army cantonment. You will witness snow-capped peaks here and the beauty of high ridges. Then, walk back to your campsite where you will be served hot food underneath a ruined fort at Mt. Jhomolhari. Later, start towards your next stop, Jangothang. Jangothang is considered the most beautiful campsite among the other high in the Himalayas and here, you can also indulge in some other fun activities like trout fishing, clicking the images of Yak herders. After reaching safely, please set-up your camps and you get the rest of the day to yourself.

After having breakfast, get ready to proceed towards your next stop, Lingzhi. This trek also includes a path similar to the one you have walked before, it will first lead towards an upward trek and finally, concluding into a downward trek. It is totally upon your luck and weather is fine, then you can oversee a pure look of Lingzhi Dzong from your campsite.

After reaching, settle into your camps and admire the surrounding beauty. If you don’t feel tired, then you can try exploring this place on your own.

After having breakfast, the rest of the day is at your disposal to spend it the way you like. It would fun to explore this quaint little town engulfed with high mountain peaks. You will also get to experience the real Bhutanese culture here as you will see most of the people dressed in old custom clothes. Communicate with the locals as much as you can and try to capture them in some candid moments.

After having breakfast, get ready to resume your trekking because you will cover around 19 km during this journey. You will see many waterfalls and flowing river along this trek. In order to reach Goen Damji, you will walk a distance of around 21 km this day but you will be following many picturesque sites during this whole walking trail. After walking for 7 to 8 hours, you will reach the campsite and then, enjoy your overnight stay.

After having breakfast, get ready to resume your trekking but this will be the last place which you will be covering by foot because at Tashithang, you will get the transportation facility. Tashithang is around 17 km from Goen Damji, so you will need 5 to 6 hours to reach there. From there, you will resume this journey with the transportation facility available at this point. Finally, you will reach Khuruthang in the evening and here, you will enjoy an overnight stay at the camps.
