Upon arrival in Kathmandu board the bus to reach the border at Tatopani. On the way to the border, you will be exploring some beautiful and traditional villages and also the agricultural fields before reaching the Tibet-Nepal border. You need to complete the boarding and immigration facilities and then move towards Zhangmu which is the border city of China. Later on, you will be taken to the Nyalamu. Return to the Hotel, enjoy dinner and then overnight stay.

Early morning after the breakfast start a drive towards the dry and plateau highlands. En-route Lhatse, get the chance to explore the stunning views of some of the highest mountain ranges in the world like Dorje Lakpa, Makalu Langtang, Cho Oyu, Gauri Shankar, Xixa Pangma, etc. Also, enjoy the beautiful scenic splendor at the high altitude passes like Nyalam Pass and Lalung La Pass.

Return back to the hotel in the evening and go for a comfortable overnight stay.

Post a relishing breakfast set out for a long drive towards Gyatso La. After driving for a certain distance you will be reaching at the place where the routes are diverted and separated in two different routes to Mt. Kailash. On reaching Shigatse, check-in at the hotel and relax for the rest part of the day.

The day is designed specifically for exploring Shigatse the second largest city of Tibet. The sightseeing starts with a visit to Tashilhunpo Monastery. After the exploration of Shigatse, we will proceed towards the historical town of Gyantse which is settled on the riverbank of Nyang Chu River. This historical and beautiful town is renowned for Palcho monastery which houses around ten thousand Buddha figurines including his images and murals.

Early morning post a relishing breakfast, proceed towards the final destination of the trip, Lhasa. Enjoy the beautiful view of the roaring Brahmaputra River and also see some busy villages, yaks, and the mountain sheep while crossing through the Kamba La and Karo La. You must be tired after the sightseeing trip of the day hence, return to the hotel, take a scrumptious dinner and then overnight stay.

After the hearty breakfast proceed towards the sightseeing tour of the Lhasa city which includes Jokhang – one of the holiest destinations for Tibetans and the Potala Palace which is believed to be the former dwelling place of Dalai Lama and it also houses a museum and is declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Later on, you will be visiting the Drepung Monastery which is counted among one of three great Gelug universities of Tibet. Next move towards the other famous monastery in the city, Sera Monastery and then proceed to the other sightseeing destinations in the capital city of Tibet. After completing all the destinations mentioned in the itinerary you will be transferred to the hotel and then overnight stay in the hotel.

Start your last day of the drip early in the morning with a healthy breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and then our tour representative will take you to the Airport from where you will continue your onward journey back home.
