Chardham Tour Itinerary from Nepal
Day 1 :Nepal – Delhi Arrival
You will be arriving in Delhi from Nepal and our tour representative will greet you at your arrival point and will transfer you to your allotted hotel in Delhi. If you arrive during the morning time then you will be taken to a few sightseeing places in Delhi like Red fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Janpath etc However if you reach during the evening then you will be taken straight to your allotted hotel in Delhi for an overnight stay.
Day 2 :Delhi – Rishikesh – Barkot
You will leave for Rishikesh early in the morning which will be a journey of almost 6 hours. Once you reach Rishikesh after a brief halt you will be taken to Barkot which will be a road journey of another 5.5 hours. After reaching Barkot, which is a pilgrimage town for people visiting Yamunotri and is located at a distance of just 2 hours. You will be checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay here.
Day 3 :Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot
Today will be the day to complete your Yamunotri Darshan which will require you to cover a trekking journey of 6 Kms either by walking or on ponies and Doli services. From Barkot you will be transferred to Janki Chatti which is situated at a distance of 1 hour and 45 Mins. After the Darshan and offering your prayer to goddess Yamuna you will be making your way back to your hotel in Barkot where you will staying the night. It is important to get your amount of rest.
Day 4 :Barkot – Uttarkashi
After completing your breakfast in the morning you will be made to head for Uttarkashi from Barkot which is situated at a travel distance of just 4 hours. En route you will also be made to visit the famous ancient temple of Prakasheshwar Mahadev Mandir. Once you reach Uttarkashi you will be made to stay at your allotted hotel for the night here.
Day 5 :Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
This is the 2nd Dham that you will be visiting in the Char Dham Yatra circuit and will commence early in the morning. From Uttarkashi after covering a journey of 3 hours you will reach Gangotri temple. The entire route is extremely scenic and Breath taking. You will be crossing the famous hamlets of Gangnani and Harsil. After the completion of your Darshan you will be taken back to Uttarkashi where you will be spending the night.
Day 6 :Uttarkashi – Guptkashi
From Uttarkashi you will be making an early morning trip to Guptkashi which will take almost 8 hours to cover. There are a number of hotels and accommodation facilities available here and is closer to Kedarnath Dham. You will be checked in to your allotted hotel here for an overnight stay.
Day 7 :Guptkashi – Kedarnath – Guptkashi
Kedarnath is probably one of the most testing and challenging journeys among the holy Char Dham portals. Your journey will commence really early in the morning where you will be taken to the final read head at Gaurikund via Phata and Sonprayag. You will be covering a trekking journey of 16 kms which takes almost 6 to 7 hours to cover. If you want you can also avail the services of ponies or Dolis. After the Darshan you will be making your way back to your hotel in Guptkashi for an overnight stay.
Day 8 :Guptkashi – Badrinath
Your journey of 6.5 to hours will commence early in the morning. This will be the 4th and final Dham site. Upon arrival at Badrinath you will be checked in to your hotel here which is located in close proximity to the main temple. If you reach in time you will be able to be a part of the mesmerising evening Aarti. You will be spending the night in Badrinath.
Day 9 :Badrinath – Rishikesh
You will be made to visit Badrinath early in the morning. After your Darshan you will also be able to explore some interesting nearby places laced in historic legends and mythologies like, Mana village, Bheem Pul, Vasudhara Falls, Tapt Kund etc. you will then be taken back to your hotel in Badrinath for an overnight stay.
Day 10 : Badrinath – Rishikesh
From Badrinath you will be straight away making your way to Rishikesh which is situated at a distance of just 10 hours of road journey. You will be checked in to your allotted hotel here upon your arrival.
Day 11 :Rishikesh Sightseeing
Early in the morning after having your breakfast you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh. The holy town is replete with religious significance and remains thronged by spirituality seekers all year round. It is also one of the prime Hippies destinations. You will be taken to the following Palces: Tera Manzil Temple, Laxman Jhula, Swarg Ashram, Beatles Ashram, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Parmarth Niketan along with a few thrilling adventure sports activities in Shivpuri like rafting, cliff jumping, bungee jumping etc. (the prices for these activities will be availed by you). You will be staying the night in Rishikesh itself after being a part of the magnificent Ganga Aarti on Rishikesh Ghat.
Day 12 :Rishikesh – Delhi
You will be transferred to Delhi which is located at a distance of 6 kms from here and this will mark the end of your journey with us. From here on you will be taken to your departure point where you will be boarding the train / flight to the desired destination.
