Upon arrival at Bhubaneshwar airport/railway station, you’ll be greeted by our tour representative who then escorts you to your pre-booked hotel. Bhubaneshwar is a happening, bustling city of Orissa bequeathed with enticing heritage trails, art and culture, magnificent monuments and temples. The city has rightly been called the ‘gateway to Orissa’. After finishing up with hotel check-in and freshening up, we’ll set out for a short city tour of this exotic city. First we’ll visit some of the top temples of Bhubaneshwar. Our tour agenda includes places like Lingaraj Temple, Kedar Gauri temple and Sai Baba Temple. At sunset we’ll wind up our day’s tour by visiting the notable Buddhist imprints in the city; i.e. the caves of Udayagiri and Khandagiri.

We depart from Bhubaneshwar post breakfast to reach Puri and en route we drop at Konark to visit one of the most notable heritages of the country, the Konark Sun Temple; a compelling symbol of architectural excellence and a celebrated UNESCO recognized World Heritage Site. This 13th century old unique Sun Temple is an intricately adorned architectural marvel and a unique monumental representation of Sun God’s colossal chariot. King Narasimhadeva I had constructed this marvelous temple, also known as the ‘Black Pagoda’ out of black granite and red sandstone. After exploring the Konark Sun Temple and lazing for few hours at the Chandrabhaga Beach, we will head straight to one of most famous towns of Orissa; Puri. Puri is a famed beach city and temple city of Orissa, home to the famous Jagannath Temple, one of the Chardhams of the All India Chardham Circuit. On reaching Puri, we check into hotel and later proceed to visit the famous Jagannath Temple and the Gundicha Temple of Puri. After paying our religious tribute at these temples, we proceed to take an evening stroll on one of the most popular beaches of Orissa; the Puri beach. After enjoying the soothing sea breeze for some time, we return to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Today we’ll explore this exotic coastal city of Orissa and go around visiting some of its best religious sanctuaries such as the Siddha Mahavir Temple, Dakshinakali Temple, Sonar Gouranga Temple, Astasambhu Temple and the Lokanatha temple. These temples are not only religious places but also compelling historic edifices. After our temple tour, we return to hotel for some rest and in the evening, we set out for another round of beach stroll. Tourists who wish to go shopping, can do so at their own discretion. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Next day we hit the road for Gopalpur en route Chilka. Chilka is the largest salt water lagoon in the whole of Asia and is the most distinguished hub of exotic migratory birds. The thriving ecosystems in and around the Chilka supports a wide range of fauna and flora. Boating, bird watching, spotting Irrawaddy Dolphins, fishing are some of the major activities you could undertake at Chilka. The lake is studded with many picturesque islands and covers an enormous area of about 1100sqkms. After spending few hours at Chilka, we proceed towards Gopalpur. Gopalpur is a quaint, little town on the coastline of Orissa about 15kms from the Behrampur city. It was once upon a time a busy commercial sea port. Today it attracts tourists who come looking for a serene and less crowded seaside. Gopalpur is actually far away from the crowd and chaos of the popular cities of Orissa like Puri or Bhubaneshwar. It is a charming beach town of languid pace. It is an ideal location for the ones who love to commune with nature and retreat into its quiet haven for some pure bliss. On reaching Gopalpur, we check into the hotel and later proceed to take a stroll on the tranquil, coconut palm fringed Gopalpur beach, enjoying the panoramic views of the sunset. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay

Next day we set out to explore this amazing beach town. First we visit the Rushikulya Turtle Island and next we visit the Maa Tara Tarini Temple. The former is the nesting ground of the humble Olive Ridley Sea Turtles while the latter is a revered Adi Shakti peeth located atop the Kumari hills and along the banks of River Rushikulya. After sightseeing we return to hotel. Evening is left free for you to relax at your own discretion. Dinner and night stay at the hotel.

Next day post breakfast we leave for Bhubaneshwar en route Khordha. At Khordha we visit the site of the Atri hot springs. The temperature of water at this hot spring is 57-degree centigrade and the spring is famed for having properties of healing almost all types of skin issues. After spending few hours at Atri, we head straight to Bhubaneshwar. On reaching we check into hotel and later proceed to visit the famous Nandankanan Zoological Park, one of the country’s most famous zoos. The zoo has served as a breeding ground for white tigers and Ghariyals or crocodiles. Also, this is the only zoo in India where you could see Patas Monkeys, Open-billed stork and Eastern Rosella type Parakeet. In this 400 acres of sprawling zoo area you can catch glimpse of wild animals in their safe, natural habitat. Apart from white tigers you could see several other types of animals at the zoo such as black tigers, Asiatic lions, monkeys, copious reptiles and many more. After taking a thrilling jungle safari ride at the Nandankanan Zoo, we return back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Next morning after breakfast you’ll be dropped at Bhubaneshwar railway station/airport where our representative sees you off and you proceed for your onward journey back home with many pleasant memories of this amazing tour.
