Panch Kedar Yatra Tour Itinerary Package
Day 1 :Delhi – Haridwar (229 Km / 5 Hours 30 Mines)
Upon your arrival in Delhi, our tour representative will escort you for a more than 200 km drive to Haridwar.
On reaching Haridwar you will be checked into your respective rooms in the allotted hotel. After freshening yourself up and relaxing for some time you will be taken on a local sightseeing tour inside the city. You will be taken to Mansa Devi Mandir to begin with, which is one of the holiest shrines of India. This temple is dedicated to goddess to Mansa Devi, a form of Shakti, and perched on top of Bilwa Parvat on the Shivalik hills range. After taking in the breathtaking experience you will then attend the evening Aarti at Har ki Pauri.
Finally, you will be taken back to your hotels for a delicious dinner meal followed by an overnight stay.
Day 2 :Haridwar – Rudraprayag (162 Km / 5 Hours 30 Mines)
After having a delicious breakfast meal, you will be taken to the picturesque and scenic destination of Rudraprayag via Devprayag. Devprayag is the confluence point for rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi making this spot the starting point of River Ganga.
Upon your arrival in Rudraprayag, you will be checked into a hotel. After relaxing for a bit and freshening up you will be taken to one of the most significant temples there, Koteshwar Mahadev Mandir. This temple is constructed at the point of confluence of Rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. The whole area is filled with an aura of spirituality and divinity.
Your day will finally end with a delicious dinner meal followed by a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3 :Rudraprayag – Kedarnath (49 Km / 1 Hour)
In the morning you will be served a delicious breakfast meal after which your day to visit one of the Char Dham, Kedarnath, will commence.
Your journey towards Kedarnath, one of the holiest and most significant dhams, will begin after your arrival at Gaurikund. After refreshing yourself at the hot water spring nearby you will proceed on foot, pony or a palanquin for your trekking journey towards Kedarnath. The overall trek covers a distance of 15km to 16km.
Upon your arrival at Kedarnath, you will be comfortably checked into your hotel before setting out for darshan of the temple. As this temple is one of the 12 jyotirlingas in India, this makes it extremely important for the Hindu devotee and pilgrims to worship here.
After completing your darshan you will be taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay and a fulfilling dinner.
Day 4 :Kedarnath – Guptkashi (23.5 Km / 45 Mines)
After having your breakfast in the morning you will be taken for Kedarnath mandir darshan.
After having worshipped here you will be taken on a return trip back to Gaurikund.
Upon your arrival in Gaurikund, you will be taken on a road journey to Guptkashi. Here you will be checked into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 :Guptkashi – Gaundhar (14.3 Km)
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be taken for a trek to Gaudhar. The scenic beauty of the surrounding areas and the cool air will definitely put you in the mood for a long walk. Gaudhar is the final and the last track for pedestrians to reach Madmaheshwar temple.
Here you will be taken to your campsite where you will camp out and stay for the night before heading to another destination. You will finally be served dinner and a night stay.
Day 6 :Gaundhar – Madhyamaheshwar
After sunrise, you will be served a much needed fulfilling breakfast before commencing your trek. You will then be taken to Madhyamaheshwar mandir.
Dedicated to Lord Shiva this temple is located at an elevation of 11,473ft. It is included in the circuit of Panch Kedar Pilgrimage Yatra and is considered to be extremely holy and sacred among devout Hindus. Legend has it that with the ending of Mahabharat and with the advice of Lord Krishna, the Pandav brothers served their penance here in order to atone for killing their cousins and cleansing the crime.
After completing your darshan, you will be taken to your campsite for spending a pleasant time by the bonfire and having a wholesome dinner followed by an overnight stay.
Day 7 :Madhyamaheshwar – Gaundhar
Your morning time will commence with a hearty meal before leaving for Gaundhar.
While en route you will be given ample time to explore your picturesque surroundings and take in its beauty.
You will finally reach the Gaundhar campsite where you will be served a fulfilling dinner meal followed by an overnight stay.
Day 8 :Gaundhar – Ukhimath
After a hearty and healthy breakfast meal, you will be taken to Jagasu. Upon your arrival in Jagasu, you will be taken to Ukhimath by road which is 16 km away.
Ukhimath is a small Hindu pilgrimage destination and is nestled at an elevation of 1,311 meters at a distance of 41 km from Rudraprayag. This temple holds relevance because of the fact that during the winter season the idols from Kedarnath and Madhyamaheshwar are brought here to be worshipped for the following six months.
After a divinity full of day and taking in all the spirituality of the area, you will be made to stay at a campsite where you will be served dinner.
Day 9 :Ukhimath – Chopta – Tungnath – Chopta – Ukhimath
Your morning will start with a hearty and fulfilling breakfast meal. After that, you will be driven to the wonderful and quaint countryside of Chopta.
Upon your arrival in Chopta, you will be free to explore the beauty of the nearby areas. Chopta is located at an elevation of 13,000ft. This place is a great spot to savour some beautiful and picturesque surroundings of the nearby areas. Being a part of the Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary Chopta is well preserved and taken care of.
After completely taking in the wonders of nature in this area, you will then start your journey for Tungnath, which comes among one of the highest Shiva temples in India sitting at a height of 12,073ft along with being one of the oldest. Apart from offering your prayers and worshipping to Lord Shiva, you can also take the nearby magnificent views of the Himalayas.
You will then finally be taken back to Ukhimath in a bus via Chopta where you will be served dinner along with an overnight stay.
Day 10 :Chopta – Panargupha
After having a fulfilling and hearty breakfast meal you will be taken to Sagar. Upon your arrival in Sagar, you will be taken on a short trekking trip to Panargupha, which is a rest stop for your trek further to Rudranath.
Upon your arrival in Panargupha, you will be checked into a camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 11 :Panargupha – Rudranath (12 Km / 6 Hours)
After having a delicious breakfast meal in the morning you will be taken for a trek to Rudranath.
Located in the Garhwal region of Himalayas, at an elevation of 11,800ft, Rudranath is a Hindu temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a natural rock temple nestled comfortably within thick Apline pastures making this temple site extremely picturesque.
Upon your arrival in Rudranath you will be checked into a comfortable camp, and after relaxing for a bit you will be taken for worship in the holy Rudranath Shiva temple. Legend has it that this temple was set up by the Pandavas after the end of Mahabharata. The main center of focus remains the mysterious appearance of Lord Shiva’s face on the Shivling here making it extremely holy for the Hindus from across the globe.
Your night stay and dinner will take place in the campsite itself.
Day 12 :Rudranath – Dumuk
After having a hearty breakfast you will be assisted on a trek to Dumuk. This is a stopover point which lies on your way to Kalpeshwar.
Upon reaching Dumuk you will be taken to your campsite where you will be served a hearty dinner meal which will be followed by an overnight stay.
Day 13 :Dumuk – Kalpeshwar – Mahadev
Early in the morning after having a hearty and healthy breakfast you will be taken to the Mahadev temple in Kalpeshwar. You will immediately be taken to your camps where you will be given some time to relax and unload your baggage.
After this, you will be taken to the famous Kalpeshwar Mahadev Mandir, which is seated at an elevation of 7,218 ft and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This is one of the most holy and sacred pilgrimage sites for devout Hindus seeking penance.
You will spend your whole day relaxing under the blue skies and rejuvenating your senses among the lush greenery of the surroundings. You will be given dinner at night followed with an overnight stay in a tent.
Day 14 :Kalpeshwar – Rudraprayag (114 Km / 4 Hours)
After having a wholesome breakfast meal in the morning you will be taken to Helang through trekking. Upon your arrival in Helang, you will board the bus to Rudraprayag. Upon your arrival in Rudraprayag, you will be checked into a hotel where you will be served dinner and spend the night.
Day 15 :Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (142 Km / 4 Hours 30 Mines)
After having a hearty breakfast meal you will then proceed towards the “yoga capital of the world”, Rishikesh. You will be checked into your hotel immediately upon arrival and here you will be taken on a local temple tour of Bharat Mandir, ram and Laxman Jhula. Ending your day at Triveni Ghat, which is one of the most important and highly revered ghats in India.
Your day will end by attending the majestic Ganga Aarti by the fast flowing might River Ganga.
Finally, you will be served delicious and fulfilling dinner followed by an overnight stay.
Day 16 :Rishikesh – Delhi
After having your breakfast in the morning, you will be driven back to Delhi hence ending your Panch Kedar Yatra Tour.
