Chardham Yatra Itinerary Package from Ranchi
Day 1 :Ranchi – Delhi – Rishikesh
Upon your arrival in Delhi from Ranchi via a flight journey you will be escorted by our tour representative to the bus which will be headed for Rishikesh. This will be a road journey of almost 6 to 7 hours and on arrival you will be checked in to the allotted accommodation facility for an overnight stay.
Day 2 :Rishikesh – Barkot
Your journey for Barkot will commence early in the morning from Rishikesh after you are done with breakfast. If there is time then before leaving for Barkot you will even be taken on a brief sightseeing of some of the nearby attractions like Laxman Jhula, Geeta Ashram, Sivananda Ashram etc. Yamunotri is the starting point for the beginning of the holy char dham yatra as per traditions since the journey goes in a clockwise direction. After covering a journey of almost 7 hours and upon your arrival in Barkot you will be immediately checked in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 :Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot
Early in the morning your journey from Barkot to Yamunotri will commence. The final roadhead for Yamunotri is at Janki Chatti and you can choose to either hire a pony or a palanquin service or even cover the distance on foot by trekking the entire route of 7 km. the cost for these alternate ways of travelling will be borne by you. Once you reach the temple and offer your prayer and complete your darshan of goddess Yamuna then you will be headed back to Barkot for an overnight stay.
Day 4 :Barkot – Uttarkashi
Once you are done with your breakfast in the morning you will be made to proceed on for your next destination of Uttarkashi which is located at a distance of almost 4 hours. En route you will be made to stop over at the Prakateshwar Mahadev Temple which is a very highly revered and a must-see temple in this area. On reaching Uttarkashi you will be checked in to your hotel here for an overnight stay. If there is time and if you want a visit to the temple of Kashi Vishwanath can be arranged.
Day 5 :Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
This is the day when your Gangotri dham darshan will commence early in the morning after having your breakfast. You can choose to offer your darshan here and even carefully take a purifying holy dip in the holy river Bhagirathi flowing past it. The darshan at the temple won’t take long since it is very close by the road here and also makes pilgrim visit very easy. After the darshan you will be transferred back to your hotel in Uttarkashi where you will be staying for the night.
Day 6 :Uttarkashi – Srinagar
Your journey to your next destination of Srinagar will commence early morning after breakfast from Uttarkashi. This will be a road journey of around 5 hours maximum depending on the traffic mostly. On arrival in Srinagar (Uttarakhand) you will be transferred to your allotted accommodation here where you will rest and stay for the night.
Day 7 :Srinagar – Sitapur – Guptkashi
Early in the morning you will be transferred to your next destination of Sitapur / Phata. Guptkashi depending on your preference and accessibility. This will be a journey by road of 5 hours and on your way you will even be made to halt at the famous Dhari Devi Temple which is located in Kalyasaur. This devi is believed to be a fierce protector of the char dham temples. You will even be made to check out the holy Rudra Prayag which is the confluence of the holy rivers of Mandakini and Alaknanda that forms the holy river of Ganga. Here you can even worship at the temple of Gauri devi which is extremely highly revered. On arrival you shall be duly checked in to your allotted hotel for a night halt.
Day 8 :Guptkashi – Kedarnath – Guptkashi
The journey for the kedarnath temple will commence early in the morning. From guptkashi you will be transferred to the final road head for kedarnath temple which is Gaurikund. From here you can choose to cover the entire 16 km of journey on foot or hire a pony or a palanquin service. Remember since it is a very difficult high-altitude journey then you must leave really early in the morning to be back on time. after your darshan of baba kedar you can either visit some nearby attractions like Bhairav Devta Mandir (1 km behind the temple) or even visit the meditation cave (where PM Modi stayed for a night). After this you will be returning back to your base hotel in Guptkashi for staying the night.
Day 9 :Guptkashi – Badrinath
Next day your day will commence after having your breakfast in the morning when you will be headed for the next destination of Badrinath. This will require you to cover a road journey distance of almost 9 to 10 hours. However, the difficulty is barely felt since the journey takes you along a very scenic and beautiful. En route you will be made to halt at the 3 of the 5 Panch Prayags of Karna Prayag, Nand Prayag and Vishnu Prayag. On arrival in Badrinath you will immediately be checked in to your allotted hotel or accommodation facility here where you shall be staying for the night.
Day 10 :Badrinath Darshan and Sightseeing – Pipalkoti
Early in the morning even before breakfast you will be taken on a morning Aarti in Badri Vishal which is probably one of the most spiritually deep experiences you will ever have. If you have time to spare in Badrinath then you can even opt for going on some sightseeing expedition to places like that of Mana Village, Bheem Pul, Vasudhara Falls etc. After the darshan of lord Vishnu in the temple you will be made to head on for your next destination of Pipalkoti. This will be a journey of around 3 hours and on reaching you will be made to check in to your hotel here for staying the night.
Day 11 :Pipalkoti – Haridwar – Delhi
Early in the morning after having your breakfast you will be headed for your next destination of Delhi via Haridwar. The entire journey by road will be of around 10 to 11 hours. En route you will even be visited the famous devprayag which is the merging point of the famous rivers of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi to form the holy river of Ganga. On reaching delhi you will be made to stay overnight at your allotted accommodation here.
Day 12 :Delhi Departure
This is the day when you char dham yatra pilgrimage will come to an end. After having your breakfast you shall be transferred to your departure location from where you will be boarding your flight / train for your desired destination.
