If you want to experience the road journey then you need to reach at the SSR Airport in Mauritius and then from there, you can catch the buses with number 9, 10, and 198. Buses, taxis, and other cars comprise land transport. Bus services are spread all across the country. Express and standard are the two major types of buses running in the country. Express buses have very less stoppage and are air-conditioned. Buses in this country start plying from 5:30 in the morning and runs continuously till 8 in the evening. You may have to change the bus to reach some of your destinations.
One can also opt for taxis but it is quite expensive and you need to plan a high budget trip. As per the facilities of the buses, express buses are more costly as compared to the standard buses. Also, express buses run faster than the standard buses.
