Himachal with Golden Temple Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :Delhi – Shimla

Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to Shimla which was once serving as the summer capital for British India. This beautiful hill station is nestled amidst the snow-covered mountains of the Shivalik Ranges and is also popular for offering the beautiful views of the majestic Himalayas.

Day 2 :Exploring Shimla

Post breakfast set out of the hotel for the morning tour of the day which includes Jakhu Temple, Kalbadevi Temple, Hanuman Temple, and also the Christ church which is famous among tourists and locals for its appealing architecture. Post breakfast drives towards Kufri which is located at a distance of almost 30 minutes from Shimla. Kufri seems like a pictorial wonderland consisting of dense forests, snow-capped mountains, lush green meadows, and virgin valleys. Stay overnight at a hotel in Kufri.

Day 3 :Shimla – Manali

Start your day early morning and drive towards the Valley of gods (covering a distance of 7-8 hours from Shimla). On reaching the day destination, check-in at the hotel and then relax in the cozy hotel room environment and then overnight stay.

Day 4 :Manali

Get yourself ready early morning as today you will be exploring the beauties of this beautiful hill station. The first destination of the day is Hidimba Devi Temple which is called as wish-granting temple. After paying homage at the Hidimba Devi Temple, you will be driven towards Vashisht Bath, Roerich Art Gallery, and also the Tibetan monastery. After enjoying the afternoon meal get ready again to drive towards Naggar Castle and also the local Bazaar where you can try out some pieces of stuff which are quite popular in the hill city. Later, in the evening return to the hotel and then overnight stay.

Day 5 :Manali

On the 5th day of the trip, you will be driving towards Rohtang Pass by a local taxi as only local axis are allowed to enter the area. After reaching this beautiful one definitely gets mesmerized with the breathtaking and soul-enriching views of the surroundings and the mountains.

Day 6 :Manali – Dharamshala

Post morning meal, proceed towards Dharamshala. Upon your arrival at Dharamshala, check in at the hotel and then relax for a few hours. Later on, in the evening, you can stroll down the Tibetan markets of Mcleodganj.

Day 7 :Dharamshala – Dalhousie

Post breakfast you will be visiting Bajinath which is believed to be the oldest surviving Shiva Temple in the country, Dally Lake, St. John’s Church, Kangra Art Museum, Mcleodganj, War Memorial, etc. Afterward, drive towards Dalhousie which is at a distance of around 4 hours from Dharamshala. Dalhousie, a beautiful holiday destination is seated at an elevation of almost 2039 meters above the sea level in and is located on the outer slopes of the famous Dhauladhar Range which is known for its picturesque landscape and stunning surroundings.

Day 8 :Dalhousie

The day is scheduled to explore Khajjiar which is almost at a distance of 18 km from Dalhousie. A saucer-shaped plateau which is beautifully adorned with appealing dense pine and deodar trees and is decorated with a placid lake settled in the middle. A 9-hole golf course and a floating island are the complimentary beauties to this place. After the day completion return to the hotel and enjoy your dinner and then overnight stay.

Day 9 :Dalhousie – Amritsar

Post breakfast you will be driving towards Amritsar which is almost at a distance of 6 hours from Dalhousie. After reaching Amritsar check-in at the hotel, get freshen up, and then drive towards Wagha border. Return to the hotel in the evening and then overnight stay.

Day 10 :Amritsar – Delhi

Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and then set out to visit the famous religious place of Sikh, The Golden Temple of Amritsar and then our tour representative will transfer you to New Delhi Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey way back home.
